Pair Arrested After Carjacking; Suspects Located Off Tunnel Boulevard

Two people were arrested on carjacking charges after a woman said her vehicle was taken at knifepoint late Thursday morning.

At approximately 11:35 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a reported carjacking at 4974 Highway 58.  Hattie Norwood told detectives that she gave two people a ride to a bank off of Highway 58.  

She said one of the suspects went into the bank and, when he returned, held a knife to her neck and demanded that she get out of her vehicle.  The suspects fled from the scene but were apprehended a short time later at an address off of Tunnel Boulevard.  

The two suspects were identified by Ms. Norwood and taken into custody.

Arrested were Michael Price, 40, and Jasmine Rogers, 22. 

The victim’s vehicle was found abandoned at a nearby cemetery.


Debbie Allison Is 2nd Arrest In Home Invasion In Rossville

According to Sheriff Gary Sisk, a second arrest has been made from the Home Invasion that was reported last Friday, at 153 Vero Beach Avenue, Rossville. Hixson Beats Silverdale For Second Volleyball Win
