32 Contenders Seeking 14 Seats On Bradley County Commission

Thirty two candidates thus far are showing an interest in 14 seats on the Bradley County Commission.

Among the latest to pick up are James Daniel Smith in District 1, Jack E. Burke Jr. in District 5 and Pam W. Edgemon in District 7.

Christopher J. Davis has picked up papers to challenge County Mayor D. Gary Davis in the Republican primary.

Fire Causes Estimated $200,000 In Damages At Home On Old East Brainerd Road

A fire at 11316 Old East Brainerd Road caused an estimated $200,000 in damages on Wednesday.    The first engine was on the scene in less than two minutes and reported smoke showing.
