Bobby “BJ” Prock, 65, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 in a local hospital.
He was the son of the late John Buster and Ella Prock; two brothers, Gene and Jimmie Prock; brothers-in-law, Clarence Dalton and Russell Lewallen.
He was retired from Honeywell/Bendix with over 39 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. Bobby was an avid trout fisherman the Tellico River being his second home. He was also a camper extraordinaire.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristie Johnson and her husband Scott; step-daughter, Denise Davis; granddaughters, Jennifer LaShay Moats and her husband Travis, Shi Reagan and her fiancé Logan Dodson; grandson, Alex Moats; brothers, Charles Prock and his wife Christine, Wiley Prock and his wife Peggy and Gary Prock; sisters, Naomi Lewallen, Clara Anderson, Bonnie Dalton, Gloria Michaud and her husband EJ; Kristie’s mother Peggy Dalton Prock; and several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, January 19 at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Rev. John Bivens officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Eric Wilson, Logan Dodson, Travis Moats, Marshall Dalton, Tim Prock and Mark Anderson serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 18 from 6-8 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
