Book Sale At Northgate Mall Is Feb. 22-March 1

Friends of the Library book sale has returned to Northgate Mall for one of their sales in 2014. Proceeds from the Friends of the Library book sales support various programs for the Chattanooga Public Library. One of the goals this year is to help support the second floor projects for Teens and Tweens as well as the children’s programs.

The book sale will be Feb. 22-March 1, Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday from 12-6 p.m.  It will be held at Northgate Mall (old Pro Golf storefront) at the outside entrance of the mall facing toward Michael’s near where the new Old Navy store is located.



Girl Scout Cookies To Be Delivered Saturday

Over a million boxes of Girl Scout Cookies are arriving across the Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians service area for pickup by volunteers. Local volunteers are counting, sorting, and delivering the cookies to waiting troops….who will bring the treats to their customers. Erlanger Has Unique Ribbon Cutting For $16 Million Heart And Lung Institute

Erlanger Health System unveiled its new $16 million Heart and Lung Institute on Thursday with a unique ribbon cutting. City Files Petition To Turn Confederate Cemetery Over To Sons Of The Confederacy

The city of Chattanooga has filed a petition in Chancery Court asking that management of the Confederate Cemetery be turned over to the Sons of the Confederacy.
