Sandra Choate Wilson, of Crossville, Tn., and formerly of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2014.  She was 66.

Sandra was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a 1965 graduate of Central High School and was of the Baptist faith. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence A. and Nannie Choate. 

Sandra is survived by her husband of 48 years, George “Fred” Wilson; sons and daughters-in-law, Curt and Tonya Wilson and Kent and Dana Wilson; grandchildren, Courtney, Trevor and Addison and brother, Kinny Choate; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at the North Chapel.

Services for Sandra will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home chapel with Dr. Steve Highlander officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East on Shallowford Road.

The family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Sandra’s name to the Hospice House of Cumberland County, 30 East Adams Street, Crossville, Tn. 38555.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
