Remaining Copies Of Updated Chattanooga History Available At Zarzour's Restaurant

Remaining copies of the updated history of Chattanooga by John Wlson are available at the historic Zarzour's Restaurant.

Zarzour's, which is behind #1 fire hall on Rossville Avenue off Main Street, has been operated by the same family since 1917.

It has reopened after a break during the holidays. Zarzour's is open for lunch Monday-Friday with Shannon Fuller handling the grill and Mary Smith the corn bread, vegetables and daily main dishes.

The 512-page softback edition includes a new set of historic photos from the original 1980 edition. There is also a new chapter bringing the city's history up to date.

There were 1,000 copies of the collector's edition and about 295 are left.

The price is $35, including sales tax.
