Sheriff's Office Called To Waconda Drive On Shooting; Shots Fired On Vance Avenue

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to near Lake Chickamauga on a shooting on Thursday night.

Deputies responded to 9042 Waconda Shore Dr.

The 911 call came in about 8 p.m.

Janice Atkinson of the sheriff's office  said, "Due to the fact it is early in the investigation no additional information is available for release to the media at this time." 

There were also shots fired on Vance Avenue in Chattanooga. At 8:16 p.m., police responded to 2515 Vance on a disorder with a weapon. Officers were just down the street at 2525 Vance at 10:21 p.m. on a shots fired call.

There was a disorder with a weapon at 204 N. Hickory St. at 10:25 p.m. 

 


Man Arrested For Kenyon Road Shooting

A Chattanooga man was arrested after police said he followed a man in his car and blocked him in on Kenyon Road while another man began shooting at the man's vehicle. When police arrived, Antoine Greenhill said five or six shots had been fired at him. Police noted that his tires had been shot out and that one bullet had hit the driver side door.
