We Need Action Soon On Crime Problem

Thursday, January 23, 2014

How many more 13-year-old kids have to die before we see some action from this administration? Reduction of crime was a campaign promise.  Where has that gone?  We hear about deaths and shootings every weekend, it's like living in Chicago or Memphis.

We lose 60 years of police experience in one day, and I don't think it had anything to do with the pension discussion.  Maybe it had to do with a lack of faith in the new course that continues to be talked about, but nothing has been done.

We are coming up on a year for the administration and what has been done? No crime reduction, no safer streets, no gang task force. What is going on? This is not what we voted for, we need some action and we need it very soon.
