Hamilton County Schools Delayed Due To Cold Morning Temperatures On Friday; Other School Delays And Closings Announced

Due to extremely cold temperatures predicted on Friday, Hamilton County Schools will be on a two-hour delay. School-aged child care will open at 8 a.m.  Central Office staff will report at regular time.

Here are other school closings and delays:

Bradley County Schools - closed

Chattooga County Schools - two-hour delay

Cleveland City Schools - two-hour delay

Dade County Schools - two-hour delay

Etowah City Schools - closed

Grundy County Schools - closed

McMinn County Schools - closed

Meigs County Schools - closed 

Murray County Schools - two-hour delay

Polk County Schools - closed

Rhea County Schools - closed

Scottsboro City Schools - three-hour delay

Whitfield County Schools and buses will operate on a two-hour delay for students. For example, students who usually get on the bus at 6:30 a.m. should be waiting for the bus by 8:30 a.m. Staff will report at the usual time.

Notre Dame Draws Top Ranked Greeneville, CCS Opens With Madison Magnet
