Men's Ministry Conference Jan. 31-Feb. 1 At Covenant Presbyterian

The Men's Ministry Conference at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 8451 East Brainerd Road, will be Friday, Jan. 31, from 7-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 1, from 8:30 a.m.-noon in Schum Fellowship Hall.  

There will be no dinner Friday night but breakfast will be served Saturday morning around 8:30. 

The cost will be $10 per person recommended but not required. The Rev. Phillip Caines, pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church, will speak on "Tools of the Trade: Men and the Means of Grace."

One person was shot on Sunday morning in North Chattanooga. North Carolina Man Dies In Rafting Incident On The Ocoee River

A 50-year-old North Carolina man died Saturday morning when the raft he was aboard overturned in the Ocoee River. The victim was Gary Brown of Clayton.
