A deacon ordination service will be part of the 11 a.m. worship service this Sunday at Signal Mountain Baptist Church, 939 Ridgeway Ave. Dr. Steven Wright will speak on "The Call to Serve," with text from Acts. 6:1-7.
Sunday School is at 9:30. A ladies' book study on "Overcoming Emotions That Destroy" will be at 7 p.m.
Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., Dr. Wright will lead a study of "Facing the Unknown, a Modern Look at the Life of Abraham." "The Book of Jeremiah" will be the adult Bible study at 6:30 in the Conference Room.
