Middle Cross Baptist To Host 3rd Annual Wild Game Dinner

Middle Cross Baptist Church, located at 4009 Norcross Road, Hixson, is hosting its 3rd Annual Wild Game Dinner for Men and Boys on Saturday, February 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center.    

Three hundred tickets are available now at $8 each. You must have a ticket to attend. They go fast, so get your tickets early by phoning the church at 877-5742.    

Trays of food feature plenty of wild game including antelope, buffalo, deer, and even some chicken.

There will be jerky, chili, meatballs, and numerous homemade sides and desserts.    Door prizes include guns, pocket knives, tree stand, and much more. There will also be some good singing at the dinner.

Fire Breaks Out At McKee Bakery Plant 2; Damages Listed At $15,000; Propane Tanks Were Near Blaze

Fire broke out at a McKee Food plant at Collegedale on Saturday night. Woman Shot Saturday Night Near O'Rear Street

A woman was shot while driving on Saturday night. Just after  9 p.m.  the Chattanooga Police Department responded to reports of a person shot. Once on scene, police located a female victim near the 2500 block of O'Rear Street suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound to the face.
