Cooking Demonstration At North River Civic Center To Spotlight Bone Health

The North River Civic Center in Hixson will present “No Bones About It,” a cooking demonstration centered on bone health, on Wednesday, from noon to 1 p.m.

Lucien Lamontagne, Life Care Center of Hixson’s executive chef, will cook fresh vegetables and discuss how these foods positively affect bones and other parts of the body.

Life Care Center of Hixson is sponsoring the free event.

Applebees Closes In Downtown Chattanooga

Sunday was the final day for the Applebees restaurant at Fourth and Market in downtown Chattanooga. It was on the list of some 130 under-performing units of the restaurant chain.
