People may bring their telescope to the Clarence T. Jones Observatory and members of the Barnard Astronomical Society will help them learn how to set up the scope properly and show how to get the most from their instrument.
Weather permitting, they will help participants find some astronomical objects with their own scope.
This event will be Jan. 11 from 5-8 p.m. and is free; everyone is welcome. Those without a telescope are also welcome to stop by and check out the observatory.
