Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC has added Lindsey Parks in its Chattanooga office.  

“We are delighted to have Lindsey join our tax team," said Chuck Tomlin, partner, Tax Services.  "She will be a great asset to our team as continue to grow LBMC and the LBMC Family of Companies, particularly in our healthcare services, security and risk services and our traditional services to privately-owned businesses.” 

Ms. Parks has joined the accounting firm as a staff accountant in the tax department.  She previously worked as a tax staff accountant for J.D. Frost & Company, PLLC and has experience with start-up businesses and construction, banking and manufacturing industries. Originally from Birmingham, Al., Ms. Parks graduated with an accounting degree from Auburn University.  

Ms. Parks is involved in Chattanooga; she is a member of the Junior League of Chattanooga, Girls Cotillion, Wine or Water Festival Committee, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Tennessee Tax Revenue For March Released

Department of Finance and Administration Commissioner Larry Martin announced Monday that Tennessee tax revenue fell short of budgeted estimates in March. Erlanger Health System reported substantial growth in revenue and effective cost management for the third quarter. A Trenton, Ga. woman was given a four-year sentence following a lengthy hearing in the December 2012 hit-and-run death of a man in St. Elmo.
