After the Scandal, the Hound and the Fall, PBS fans will revisit the experiences of the world's only consulting detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his long-suffering faithful friend, Dr. John Watson when the season premieres on-air on Jan. 19. Time has passed, the terror alert has been raised to critical, and Sherlock has returned to confront the one person who matters most.
WTCI is hosting a special premiere preview party at the Honest Pint on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m. Guests will enjoy a Sherlock-inspired pub quiz led by trivia quiz master Eddie Bridges, drink specials and complimentary pub-style hors d’oeuvres before watching the premiere episode of Season 3. Fans under 21 are invited to enjoy the preview screening from the Honest Pint’s non-smoking room.

Review for Sherlock:
In three thrilling new episodes, Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch, The Fifth Estate, Star Trek: Into Darkness) returns after a not-so-fatal fall to find that while it’s easy to pick up where he left off solving crimes, it may not be so easy to coax John Watson (Martin Freeman, The Hobbit, The Office UK) back into his old role of straight man/co-conspirator. This time around things will be different—a new member of the team, a new arch-villain who inspires unsurpassed loathing, and, most unsettling of all, a new threat that lies very close to home.
Preview clips are available online at http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/sherlock/. Sherlock fans are also invited to join WTCI on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. for an online experience. WTCI is a beta-testing site for OVEE, the new online viewing engagement experience and presents a free online screening of Inside Sherlock. Enjoy conversations with the creators and actors with unique chat features that allow online participants to talk with each other. Join this free screening at https://ovee.itvs.org/screenings/pbcbm. Please contact WTCI at 702-7815 or email Jennifer Crutchfield at jcrutchfield@wtcitv.org for questions about this online experience.
