Baker Arrested In Connection With Waconda Bay Shooting

Detectives with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office arrested Justin Charles Baker on Tuesday on warrants related to the shooting that took place on Friday at 9042 Waconda Shore Dr.

 

Information was developed by Investigators and Baker was located at an address on Gillespie Road in Chattanooga.  

He was charged with aggravated assault and felony possession of a weapon stemming from the shooting, along with resisting arrest and possession of marijuana.  

Baker was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

 


Home Damaged, Dog Killed In House Fire Friday Afternoon

A home was damaged and a dog was killed on Friday afternoon in a house fire. At  2:30 p.m. , a neighbor called 911 reporting a loud explosion coming from next door. East Ridge police detectives have made several arrests in the Feb. 20 murder of Reginald Ballard. Mr. Ballard was found dead at the Cascades Motel at 3625 Ringgold Road.
