Balanced Body Yoga Celebrates Grand Opening On Jan. 17

Balanced Body Yoga will celebrate its grand opening on January 17 at 1:30 p.m. The business is at 8513 Hixson Pike, Suite E in Hixson. The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is coordinating the
event.

The new yoga studio offers all levels yoga for all bodies. Not just for the flexible or fit, yoga strikes the
balance of strength and flexibility. Beginners are welcome and encouraged with no intimidation. Serving
Hixson, North Hixson, Soddy Daisy and surrounding areas, the studio is conveniently located across from BiLo/Arby’s in Dallas Bay. Flow, Power Flow, Hatha and Yin/Yang classes are offered six days per week in 1000 square feet of practice space.

Class schedule is as follows:

Monday and Wednesday: 8 a.m., 12 p.m.and 6 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday: 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m.
The studio is currently closed on Sundays

Cornerstone Community Bank Has Rise In Earnings

Cornerstone Bancshares, Inc. (OTCBB: CSBQ; CSBQP), parent company of Cornerstone Community Bank, today reported earnings for the second quarter ended June 30, including a rise in income. EPB Says It Did Not Overbill The City; Says City Got $685,877 Break

EPB officials said Tuesday that an exhaustive audit of its street light contract with the city showed that it did not overbill the city. Instead, it said it found that the city was underbilled $685,877. EPB said it only goes back one year on errors so the amount owed by the city would be $178,314.
