Scale Model Convention And Regional Show Is Friday And Saturday

  • Wednesday, January 8, 2014

The Chattanooga Scale Modelers Association will host their fourth annual Scale Model Convention and Regional Show on Friday and Saturday.

Visitors can expect to see museum quality scale models grouped in categories such as aircraft, armor, autos, dioramas, figures, science fiction and ships. A miscellaneous category takes care of most everything else.

Specialist vendors will have booths and be selling various related kits, tools, books, supplies and accessories.  In addition, Grex Airbrush will be set up doing regular demonstrations.

In previous years 300-400 models have been displayed and over 100 vendor booths set up. The best time for the public to check out the models is noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The show hours are Friday from 2-7 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m.- 4p.m.
