Diane Stocker Joins Ministerial Staff At 2nd Presbyterian

Diane Stocker is the new Parish Associate for Youth Ministry at Second Presbyterian Church, 700 Pine St.   A native of Chattanooga and a lifelong Presbyterian, she was commissioned as a ruling elder in her home church of Northminster and has served as interim pastor at New Hope Presbyterian and as interim associate pastor at Rivermont Presbyterian.  She trained in the Presbytery of East Tennessee and continued her education through the Clinical Pastoral Education program at Erlanger Medical Center.

Judy Kay Peer, 69, Killed When Train Hits Her Car At Hamill Road Crossing In Hixson

Judy Kay Peer, 69, was killed on Friday night when a train struck her car in Hixson on Friday night. Ms. Peer, a Hixson resident, was driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata.
