United Methodist Day Of Discipleship Is Sunday At Brainerd United Methodist

A "Day of Discipleship" will take place on Sunday, at the Chattanooga  United Methodist District Office at Brainerd United Methodist Church, 4315 Brainerd Road. The gathering and fellowship will begin at 2 p.m, with worship at 2:30 p.m. 

This will be followed at 3:10 p.m. with workshops in the areas of Children's Ministries, Evangelism and Community Outreach, Financial Officers, Lay Leaders and Board/Council Chair, Lay Servant Ministries and SPRC Member Training.

The meeting will continue at 5 p.
m. when the group will package 10,000 meals with Stop Hunger Now.

Temple Baptist Hosts Summer Revival

Harr Outlines $40 Million Plan For Chattanooga Light Rail System

Outgoing Chamber of Commerce President Ron Harr on Monday outlined a $40 million plan for a Chattanooga light rail system that would serve not only downtown, but also the Airport and the Enterprise South Industrial Park.
