Review for Dave Anderson and Phil Weaver:
Dave Anderson first came to the scene as a member of Brother Kane. Eight Brother Cane singles cracked the top 30 of Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, including two number ones, 1998's "I Lie in the Bed I Make" and 1995's "And Fools Shine One," as well as their signature 1993 hit "Got No Shame," which featured scorching harmonica work from now-deceased Magic City bluesman Topper Price. Since then he has been the lead guitarist and backing vocals in the band Atlanta Rhythm Section.
The imagination of Phil Weaver has prompted a whole new series of Cabaret style performances including this collaboration with Anderson of Atlanta Rhythm Section. Phil is one of the few classical guitarists to be on the roll of recognized musicians in the Alabama Hall of Fame. Performing for more than 30 years, he has toured Europe, played solo concerts in London, Sawbridge, NYC, and Philadelphia.
