Annette Allen And Susan Robertson Will Serve The Whole Signal Mountain Community

  • Friday, October 10, 2014

I am writing in support of Annette Allen and Susan Robertson for our Town Council. They work tirelessly, intelligently, and, perhaps most importantly with cordial spirit to serve the interests of our community—the whole community.

One of the interests we all share is the preservation of parcels of land in our town, park lands, that provide opportunities for ecologically friendly recreation, as well as observing and learning more about nature's beauty and complexity. Annette, Susan, and others have been working diligently with the Land Trust for Tennessee on a conservation easement  to protect park lands, such as Rainbow Lake, Green Gorge, and some smaller parks, in perpetuity. Other candidates seem to prefer leaving the door open to development of these parcels down the line. That could be a road to compromising the gentle aesthetic of our community and its ecologically intact emeralds.

Please support Annette and Susan.
