The Baylor fine arts department and The Baylor Players will present Euripides' Greek tragedy, The Trojan Women, this fall.
Performances will run Wednesday, Oct. 29, and Thursday, Oct. 30, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 1, at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2:30 p.m. (there is no show on Halloween), all in Baylor's Roddy Theater.
Ronald Duncan's English version of Jean-Paul Sartre's adaptation of The Trojan Women is a depiction of the fate and travail of the survivors of the Trojan War, which evokes even modern audiences to consider the sufferings of innocent victims of war.
The cast involves 50 students as actors, stage managers, and house managers, and several others serving on the technical crew.
