Larry Dean Goins, 67, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 in a local hospital.
He was the son of the late JC and Grace Goins; and was also preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Patsy Goins.
Larry was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church and he loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his sons, Barry Dean Goins and his wife Rachel and Mark Shannon Goins; grandchildren, Justin Goins and his wife Alisha, Brandon Goins and his wife Gabriela, Gage Goins, Devin Goins, Peyton Goins, Samantha Hutcheson, Jacob Hutcheson, Mason Crisp and Brystal Crisp; great-grandchildren, Adelyn Goins, Macie Goins, Taylor Goins and Brayden Leach; two sisters, Sandra Duncan and her husband Joe, Karen Johnson and her husband Robert “Poochie”; nieces, Kerri Cantrell and her husband Shaun and Melissa Beaty and her husband Brian; and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews from his wife’s side of the family.
A Remembrance of Life service will held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 14 at the Wildwood Chapel of the Jim Rush funeral homes with Rev. A.C. Cooper officiating. The interment will follow in the Benton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 13 from 5-8 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
