Mary Edith Covey Graham, 83, of Rock Spring, Georgia, died on Friday, October 10, 2014.
She was born to the late Cleon and Gertrude Covey in Syracuse, N.Y. on July 24, 1931. Mrs. Graham retired from Hutcheson Medical Center with 20 years of service, was a member of Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church, a member and former secretary of the Chattanooga Valley Lion's Club and she enjoyed cake decorating.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edwin C. Graham, and grandson, Michael Hawkins.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Lloyd Mauk of Rock Spring, Louann and Stan Gruetter of Chattanooga, Dale and Tommy Hawkins of Rising Fawn; two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Barbara Gamlen of Calhoun, Darren and Rita Gamlen of Chickamauga; two step daughters and sons-in-law, Sherie and Larry Cash of Signal Mountain, and Susie and Rick Penney of Washington; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Robert Hughes of New York; brother, David Walker of New York; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on, Friday, Oct. 17, at Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church with Brother Billy Jacks officiating, at 90 Nick-A-Jack Lane, Flintstone, Ga. 30725.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Chattanooga Valley Lions Club, P.O. Box 151, Flintstone, Ga.
