Baylor Wins 1-0 At John Paul II

The Baylor girls soccer team claimed the fourth seed going into the Division II post season Tuesday night with a 1-0 win at Pope John Paul II. 

Lainee Bohannan  scored at the 18th minute off a corner to put Baylor up 1-0.

Neither team would score for the remainder of the match. 

"I am very proud of our girls," Baylor head coach Curtis Blair said.  "To go through what we have gone through this year and end up a four seed is an amazing accomplishment. I could not be prouder of these young ladies. Now we have to turn around and do it again in the first round of the state tournament against JPII."

Baylor had four shots on goal and JPII had one.  

Baylor's Kaleigh Clemons had one save and Campbell Carlie had three for JPII.

Baylor improves to 4-9-4 overall and 2-2-2.
