George Farrah Yother, 70, died on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in a local hospital.

George was retired from U.S. Pipe and is survived by his son, Johnny Yother, stepbrother, Jerry Gilstrap, and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, in the Advantage Chapel with Dr. John Carter officiating. Private burial will be held at Lakewood Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Oct. 16, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
