Harvest Fest, a local festival sponsored by the Harvested Here Food Hub, will be on Wednesday, Oct. 29. Event hours are 4-7 p.m. and will coincide with the Main Street Farmers Market on 325 East Main Street.

In addition to regular farmers market activities, Harvest Fest will include free local food prepared by premiere local chefs representing 1885, Easy Bistro, Flying Squirrel, and St. John’s Restaurant. Live music, local breweries, face painting, and pumpkin picking will also be featured. Admission is free and open to the public.

Harvested Here Food Hub Director Ray Rollison said, “Harvested Here is excited to partner with the Main Street Farmers Market to bring this event to the Chattanooga community. Harvest Fest will showcase our healthy, local food supply, as well as our local food industry talent. Attendees will truly experience the best of both worlds at this event.”

About the Harvested Here Food Hub, Chef de Cuisine at Easy Bistro and Bar said, "As a chef, I know the importance of quality local food, and even more so the quality of life of farmers – something we work hard to sustain at Easy Bistro & Bar.  The Food Hub is our partner in making sure these relationships, standards, and values stay strong and fruitful in our local community."
