Long-Vacant Parkway Towers Being Sold Via Online Auction

  • Thursday, October 16, 2014

The long-vacant Parkway Towers across from Finley Stadium is being sold via online auction by an investment group that bought it in 2008.

The four-story building was initially occupied by the Tennessee Electric Power Company.

The city of Chattanooga once tried to obtain it by eminent domain, but then-owner Gary Fillers fought the move in court and won after a lengthy battle.

The auction will be Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 1-3 p.m. on Auctionadvisors.com
