Senior Grandparents Breakfast On The Ridge Held At McCallie

  • Thursday, October 16, 2014

Students from the class of 2015 were given a break from classes to enjoy breakfast on the Ridge with their grandparents.

Eighty McCallie seniors and 120 grandparents gathered in the school dining hall for Grandparents Day.

The McCallie Men's Ensemble opened the event followed by speeches from J.J. Moncus ’15, Chris Kositzke ’15, and Carter Harbin ’15, who also delivered a snippet from McCallie’s upcoming production of Shakespeare’s Henry V. An acoustic guitar quartet finished off the morning by performing two classical songs.

After breakfast, the grandparents had the opportunity to get professional portraits made with their grandsons.

Photos of the event can be viewed below or at photos.mccallie.org
