Nancy Higdon Charged With Using Previous Employer's Bank Account

  • Friday, October 17, 2014

The Criminal Investigations Division of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday charged Nancy Katherine Higdon of Cleveland with computer offenses. She was charged with theft over $1,000.

The charge is in connection with several computer transactions that police say Ms. Higdon conducted using a bank account of one of her former employers, Affordable Roofing, to make payments and purchases.

A business representative discovered that the company’s bank account had been accessed and the passwords had been changed. The transactions from the business account were over $1,000. She was fired from the company on Sept. 10.

Ms. Higdon was taken into custody by members of the Bradley County CID and booked into the Bradley County Jail.
