Kenneth Lacey
Kenneth V. Lacey, 76, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, October 17, 2014 with his family by his side.
He had lived most of his life in Chattanooga where he worked as a long haul truck driver for several companies. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Vietnam Era and was a member of the Temple Baptist Church. Mr. Lacey was outgoing and he loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and was also an Alabama football fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Lacey and Hazel Burkhalter; brother, Walter Lacey; and grandson, Gary Lee Coffman.
Survivors include his daughters, Alana Metcalf of Chattanooga, Natalie (Marty) Davis of Dalton, and Candice (Christopher) Teran of Chatsworth; nine grandchildren, James Michael (Autumn) Whitworth, Aaron Shane Trippe, Kristofor-Alexander Teran, Kadence-Mikayla Teran, Mia Azlyn Stroup, Braden Andrew Davis, Peyton Johanna Davis, Ashleigh Brooke Davis, and Kelsie Reece Davis; one great grandson, Mykel Lee Whitworth; and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Brother Bob McCoy officiating.
Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors provided by the VVA 203.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 20, from 4-8 p.m., and Tuesday, from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
