Mountain Arts And Crafts Celebration At Cloudland Canyon Is Nov. 1-2

Autumn leaves should be peaking during the second annual Mountain Arts and Crafts Celebration, to be held on Nov. 1 and 2 at the Cloudland Canyon State Park, off Highway 136 on Lookout Mountain, near Trenton.

Admission to the Celebration is $5 per person and park admission is an additional $5 per car for those without park passes.  

This juried show has arts and crafts available for sale from over 100 artists working in the following media: pottery, painting, jewelry, wood carving, textile art and quilts, photography, rustic furniture, household decorations and more.  

A variety of foods will be available for purchase, including pizza, BBQ, funnel cakes and other festival foods.  

Regional musicians, both local and from nearby states, are performing hourly in many different genres all day Saturday and Sunday. In addition, the Southern art of storytelling will be at the Spoken Word Stage.  

Children’s activities such as train rides, face painting and wood sculpture building will be featured.
