Mary Elizabeth Maclin, 90, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, October 16, 2014. 

She was born on august 30, 1924 in Rossville. Mary worked at the Hamilton County Health Department, Vital Records Department, for 40 years before retiring at age 72.  She was active in the Alhambra Shrine Temple for many years and was a member of the Red Hats Club.  Mary never failed express to her family the love she had for them and it also brought her great joy in life to be able to give and help others, regardless of who it was.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen D. Brown; brother, Willie Lasater and her sister, Tina Rogers.

Mary is survived by her two children, Janice M. Frost and Harold M. Kaska; seven grandchildren, Angela D. Whitaker, Kim M. Jones, Tami Worlen, Paulina Weeks, Demetrious Salinas, Christopher Kaska and Kathy Kaska; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Grady Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park, Rossville.
