Fred Frost, 75, of the McDonald area, died on Saturday, October 11, 2014.
A native of Shaftsbury, Vermont, he has been a resident of the McDonald for the past 30 years and was the son of the late Gilbert and Elzaida Frost.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Blake E. Frost and was a member of the Apison Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margee Frost; son, Mike (Rhonda) Frost; daughter, Cindy (Steve) King; Scott (Martha) Frost; two step-sons, Rob Rowan and Adam (Laura) Rowan; four grandchildren, Kaylin, Matt, Amy and Chase; six step-grandchildren, Isabelle, Robert, Kristen, Derek, Adam and Tommy; brothers, Phil (Pauline) Frost, Gary (Ann) Frost, Trenton (Oriana) Frost, Paul Sullivan, sister, Cathy (David) Weaver, brothers Mark (Myra) Sargeant and Dennis (Barbara) Farley; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Apison Seventh-day Adventist Church, 11421 Bates Road, Apison, Tn. 37302.
Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
