Virginia Ritchie
Virginia Nell “Nanny” Ritchie, 69, of Lewis Chapel, died on Tuesday, September 30, 2014.
She was of the Baptist faith. Born to parents, Thomas and Bonnie Hulgan on Feb. 25, 1945, she was preceded in death by her son, Odis Ritchie, Jr.
She leaves a great soul mate, husband and best friend of 52 years, Odis Ritchie; two daughters, Lynette (Wayne) Travis and Nadine (Jack) Stanfield; grandchildren, Jonathan (Sarah) Roberts, Chloie, Nichole, Jackie, Susie (Jim); great grandchildren, Leo, Brooklyn, Mason, Richard and Rachael; sister, Margirene Smith, several nieces and nephews and one honorary granddaughter, Katrina Hensley.
Services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Paul Forgey officiating. Burial will follow at Shubird Cemetery.
Visitation is on Friday, Oct. 3, from 4-9 p.m.
