A three-member City Council committee will recommend to the full council top prospects for the two top City Council positions.

The other two posts in the office will be screened by the city personnel office.

On the committee will be Chairman Chip Henderson and council members Russell Gilbert and Jerry Mitchell.

They will recommend two top choices for city clerk and two for legislative and budget analyst. Sandra Freeman is the current clerk and Randy Burns is the budget analyst. The full council will make the final selection.

Nicole Gwyn is deputy clerk. The fourth post is support specialist.
