Cleveland State Community College will be hosting its annual Nursing Information Session on Monday, Nov. 3 from 5 – 7 p.m. The event will take place in Room 113 of the George R. Johnson Cultural Heritage Center.
Representatives from the CSCC Nursing Department, Financial Aid, the Testing Center and the Students Nurses Association will be available during the session to answer questions about entering the day sequence or the night sequence of the nursing program.
Prospective students will learn about admission testing, ways to deal with anxiety associated with test taking, the requirements to enter the day sequence of the nursing program, and will be able to take a tour of the nursing media center and lab.
Priscilla Simms, Assistant Professor of Nursing and Chair of the Admissions Committee, stated, “We enjoy working with our future nursing students. We are always happy to assist them in the application process.”
“We are very proud of our Nursing Program,” stated Nancy LaBine, Dean of Health and Wellness and Director of Nursing. “We look forward each year to meeting eager students at the nursing information sessions. It is an honor to train future nurses.”
