The Chattanooga Mocs men’s tennis team finished fall competition with a win in doubles at the Georgia Southern Classic in Statesboro, Ga., today. UTC lost its two singles matches this afternoon.
Junior Gino Delavalle and freshman Michael Birnbaum scored an 8-6 win over Kennesaw State’s Jorge Wilton and Matthew Johnson. It was Delavalle and Birnbaum’s second doubles win of the weekend.
They each dropped a singles match in Flight C. Delavalle went 3-1 in singles on the weekend, while Birnbaum was even at 2-2.
