Frankie Carolyn Green, 76, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at her residence.
She was a retiree of Skyridge Hospital and a member of Hampton Drive Baptist Church. She was born in Cleveland and had lived here her entire life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Stephenson and Martha Ensley Stephenson; husband, J.C. Green; and sister, Jean Stephenson.
She is survived by four children, Debbie Cooley and husband Dewayne, Kenny Green and wife Linda, Rhonda Burger and husband Ray, and Sandra Black and husband Jeff, all of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Jason Cooley, Jeremy Cooley and wife Jessica, Jenny Ehlers and husband Mike, Macenna Burger, Natasha Stewart and husband Charles, and Candace Vandergriff and husband Shawn; great-grandchildren, Blake Cooley and wife Anna, Skyler Cooley, Aiden Ehlers, Alaina Ehlers and Jayden Vandergriff; step-grandchildren, Kierra Stewart, C.J. Stewart and Allie Stewart; brother, Gary Stephenson; sister, Diane Clark and husband David; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 27, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Dills and Reverend Marvin Carr officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Bethel Cemetery with Charles Stewart, Shawn Vandergriff, Jason Cooley, Blake Cooley, Larry Reed, Mickey Farmer, and Tristan Walker serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
