Sarah Jo McWhorter Eller, 73, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Eller was born March 3, 1941 in Trion, GA, the daughter of the late Paul Arthur McWhorter and Dorothy Mae Manns McWhorter. Mrs. Eller was retired
from Herman Miller Company. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Walter J. Campbell; step-mother, Nellie Stinett McWhorter; and a brother, Jimmy Campbell.
Survivors include a son, Barry C. Barosay; daughter and husband, Charlenne “Tina” and Edward “Bo” Allmon; brother and sister-in-law, Michael Paul and Kathy McWhorter; sisters, Paula Jean Marks, Jackie Campbell, and Eydie Mae Rowland, six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Linda Howard, Ruth Guest, Janie Fowler; and an aunt, Elise Elrod.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barry Barosay, Adam McGuire, Allen Elrod, Jimmy L. Hardin, and Neal Shropshire.
Ms. Eller will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p. m. Tuesday. The family respectfully requests no food.
