William P. “Bill” Gadd, 77, of Kimball, Tennessee, died on Monday, October 27, 2014, at his home following an extended illness.
Born Feb. 25, 1937, to the late Dee Sheridan Gadd and Elva Mae Kohorst Gadd, he was a native of Covington, Ky. He retired from Consolidated Freightways with 30 years of service as a Transport Operator. He was of the Church of God faith.
Bill was also a 50-year mason and past master of Marion Lodge #515 F&AM in South Pittsburg, 50-year member of the Shrine and Past President of the Marion County Shrine Club in Jasper, and a 50-year member of the Scottish Rite Bodies.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Edna Durham Gadd of Kimball; sons, Phillip (Christina) Gadd and David Gadd both of Manchester, Tn.; step-son, Kevin Pace of Tiftonia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, Oct 30, with Brother David Swanner officiating. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 4-8 p.m. Central Time at the funeral home.
