Julia Casey
Julia “Judy” Pearl Casey, 91, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, October 27, 2014.
Judy wrote, “I have enjoyed thinking about my destination and I’ve enjoyed the journey”. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the McAllester Bible Class. Judy also held office in the Cumberland Sunshine Club for seniors.
Judy was retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company, a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and a graduate of Central High School Class of 1941.
Ms. Casey was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward and Indiana Cowan Casey; brother, James Cowan Casey; sisters, Marianna C. Davis, Jessie C. Kirk, and Jeffie C. Higdon.
Surviving are eight nieces and nephews, and a number of great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Judy’s life will be celebrated with visitation on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. Gary Carver officiating.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
