'Cops For A Cause' In Support Of 2nd Annual Chattanooga Autism Awareness Walk

  • Thursday, October 30, 2014

The 2nd Annual Chattanooga Autism Awareness Walk will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Coolidge Park with a starting time of 10:45 a.m., with children’s activities available starting at 8 a.m.

The route for the 2 miles total walk will start at Coolidge Park and continue over the pedestrian bridge, around the art district and then back to Coolidge Park.

For this year’s regional event, Crisis Intervention trained area law enforcement officers have created a team called “Cops for a Cause” to support the Chattanooga Autism Center.

During the two mile fun walk law enforcement officers will walk along side families with children who have autism, not only to show their support for this important cause, but to show appreciation to the Chattanooga Autism Center for their continued support for the Crisis Intervention Program, as well as raise awareness in the community.

You can join online by going to www.ChattAutismWalk.com, then click on “Register Here” and choose to “join a team,” and find “Cops for a Cause.”
