Cathy Higgins Rose Petty, 60, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.
Cathy was the owner of Kay’s Kastle for the past 26 years.
Preceding her in death was her parents, W.R. and Carrie F. Higgins and her first husband, Thomas “Eddie” Rose..
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Donald Ray Petty; son, Joseph Petty of Soddy Daisy; grandchild, Taya Petty; her siblings, Evelyn Ruth Russell of East Ridge, Edith Grizzard of Oklahoma, Ralph Higgins of Rhea County, William (Wanda) Higgins and Timothy (Roberta) Higgins, both of Hixson; special niece Christine Dent and nephew Shane Higgins, both of Soddy Daisy, as well as several other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Bishop Clayton Privett officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 3-9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, and after 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
