Malcolm Rann, 76, of Cohutta, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Rann, Sr.; and step-father and mother, Roy and Geneva Springfield.
He was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Rann of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel & Melisa Rann of Rocky Face; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joyce & James Gamblin of Dalton, Barbara & Clarence Stephens of Emerson, GA and Sherry Akin of Acworth; special brother-in-law, Larry Childers of Cohutta; and grandchildren, Collin, Kyle and Kylee.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31, at 1 p.m. at the Rocky Face Cemetery with Rev. Darey Kittle and Rev. Ed Pippin officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Friday, October 31 from 11 a.m. until the service time a 1 p.m.
