Kelvon Dozier
Police were called to a home on Sunnyside Avenue after the owner drove up and saw three men leaving the house and running into an SUV.
The owner was also able to get part of the tag number. When he told police, they realized his description matched a vehicle they had pulled over earlier. Because of this, police were able to identify the driver and his address.
The owner also told police that as the vehicle was leaving, the man in the rear passenger seat pulled out a gun and fired several shots in his direction.
This man was later identified as Kelvon Dozier.
The police started their search by driving to where the driver, Carl Lewis, lives.
Once there, they saw the vehicle.
Police also saw the three men unloading the SUV, one of them carrying a computer.
After performing a search, police found another computer, along with two weed eaters, hedge trimmers, a flatscreen TV, and a handgun.
The third man involved was identified as a juvenile.
Dozier was charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, theft over $1,000, and reckless endangerment.
