Howley Has New Ideas And New Energy For Signal Mountain - And Response

  • Friday, October 31, 2014

Over the last several years, I have had the opportunity to serve with Chris Howley on the Signal Mountain Recreation Advisory Board.  During this time, I obtained an insight into the qualities that make Chris Howley an outstanding candidate to serve on the Signal Mountain Town Council.Chris has spent countless hours on the board overseeing the numerous recreation leagues and facilities on Signal Mountain, as well as obtaining feedback from citizens and coaches for improvements and maintenance on the town’s recreational facilities.

Chris has always kept his focus on ensuring that the recreational leagues serve every child on the mountain, regardless of his/her level of athletic ability or experience. I have seen firsthand that he strives to listen and be open minded to all points of view and be a consensus builder.

Over the last 10 plus years, Chris has served on several other volunteer boards and committees while also raising his four children, all of which attend Signal Mountain schools.

Chris brings a great deal of business expertise through his 20 plus years of experience as an executive with Republic Parking, which employs more than 2,500 people and generates revenues in excess of $300 million annually.

Chris is honest, hardworking, and clearly, is not a career politician.

Chris brings new energy, new ideas, and a desire to volunteer his business and personal experiences to assist the town in addressing the multitude of complex financial and growth issues which the town will face in the foreseeable future.

I am asking for your support to elect Chris Howley to the Signal Mountain Town Council.
