Hannah Faith Greene’s weekend trip to Clarksville proved to be very rewarding as the junior at Girls Preparatory School was named Miss Tennessee Teen USA 2015.
The six-foot-tall Miss Greene was one of 42 vying for the title and becomes the third Chattanooga area resident to win the crown in the 23-year history of the event which was held on the Austin Peay State University campus. Macy Erwin from Tyner Academy was the 2007 titlist and Signal Mountain native Rachel Boston who stars in the Lifetime series “Witches of East End” was the area’s first winner in 1999.
Miss Greene, who was the fourth runner-up at Miss Tennessee’s Outstanding Teen in March representing Chattanooga, advances to the 2015 Miss Teen USA Pageant which has been held at the Atlantis Resort in Nassau, The Bahamas since 2008. The date for the 2015 event has not been announced.
The daughter of Dr. Chris and Marianne Greene is a GPS Ambassador, varsity cheerleader, Key Club member and a member of the track team. She is on the Headmaster’s List, a member of the National Young Scholar program and is a recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze Award for outstanding community service and leadership.
